COVID POLICY

Dear Client,

RE: COVID 19 policy

All physiotherapy appointments are conducted within a medical setting. As such and in accordance with Public Health England advice all clients will be required to wear a facemask (unless exempt) and agree to the following Coronavirus Policy prior to attending an initial appointment. If exempt from wearing a mask please make this known as soon as possible.

Please read the following information and respond via the email link:

I nor any member of my household have been unwell in the last two weeks including any of the following symptoms:
• Flu like symptoms, headache, tiredness, aching limbs
• Increased temperature
• New persistent cough
• Loss of taste and or smell

I am not currently in a period of isolation due to:
• Known or possible close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID 19
• Being advised to isolate on return to the UK from foreign travel

I understand COVID 19 can be transmitted through droplets in the air from breathing and or coughing/sneezing as well as touching contaminated surfaces. People with COVID 19 are not always symptomatic and contact with the virus may therefore occur unknowingly. I will minimise this risk by sanitising my hands upon entering and leaving the clinic and wearing a facemask at all times while in the building and treatment room (unless exempt).

I understand the physiotherapist will comply with 2m social distancing although given the nature of the appointment there will be a requirement for the physiotherapist to be within 2m of me at times. These periods of time will be kept to only those necessary and the physiotherapist will be wearing a mask, apron and gloves.

I understand the physiotherapist will change PPE for each client and the treatment room will be cleaned between appointments.
